Bobcats' Wallace says he'll face Heat
Charlotte Bobcats forward Gerald Wallace says he’s good to go Tuesday in Miami. Center Ryan Hollins is more of a long shot.
That was the sense from a brief practice Sunday. Wallace (calf strain) didn’t participate, but indicated he’ll be ready when the Bobcats face the Heat (with a chance to clinch a tiebreaker in the season series).
Hollins (strained shoulder) appears unlikely to play. There’s still abundant soreness and stiffness in his joint, so he’s probably several days away.

has anybody ever seen a game in which the referees wanted one team to win more than the refs wanted Boston to win Sat. night? What a freakin' joke...the worst calls of all time. And, secondly, didn't the inexperience of Vincent show by allowing J. Richardson throw in the in-bounds pass w/ 4 seconds left? Where was Felton and McGinnis? Can we now practice the old in-bounds play?

Bobcats TV is terrible. There were barely any replays and when it counted most they didn't even show Ray Allen's buzzer beater. After the game the network didn't have postgame or anything. All the screen said was Bobcats vs. Bulls is the next game, not even the final score!?
On a another note I thought the Bobcats had a great game and showed they can compete against one of the best teams in the NBA.

I argee with Malichae Neese, I was at the game and the calls were really bad. I think the Cats will be ok. They are doing what they need to do in order to get to the playoffs. They are beating teams that they are supposed to beat. And they are playing everyone else close. Once we learn how to close out games we will be fine.

just curious...with a 20 second timeout still available to use...can we not advance the ball past mid court and inbound in an area significantly farther away from the celtic basket? unless the rules have changed, i thought that this option is available in the nba...if not, lets at least use the 20 to set up a sideline out of bounds play, insuring that we have good ball handlers and foul shooters in the game for the last 4 seconds

Vincent showed why he jumped from coaching the Nigerian women's team to the Bobcats. Just overwhelmed as coach. One of the greatest coaches in Charlotte history - Lee Rose - and the guy can't get a ballhandler to throw the ball in. And, he doesn't call a timeout. All that scratching and clawing to give it away at the end.

We are a different team with G-Force in the line-up. But we still need additional toughness & hustle. What about making a trade with the Cavs for Anderson Varejao. He doesn't want to play in Cleveland, he's young (25) and energetic. And at 6-10, he could fill the need that Sam is looking for, more big men.

Guys don't you be talkin about my white token man coach Rose. I pay a lot of money to have a little white in my coaching and managin team.
Gotta go now I am going to git some chiken.
