NBA should suspend Kobe Bryant

0327kobe       I'm not sure whether Kobe Bryant will be suspended. I know he should be suspended.

Bryant should have received a technical foul in the first half Wednesday against the Bobcats, after showing up an official who called him for a foul on Jason Richardson.

Testing what a referee will put up with has become common practice for Bryant this season. Wednesday he went over the top by kicking a ball at a referee for his second technical - an automatic ejection. Then, just to make sure his Diva act was complete, he left the court screaming a profanity at the official who T'd him up.

The best message the NBA could send today is a one-game suspension. Prove to the paying public that MVP candidates aren't above the law.

The NBA Cares

Agree with you Rick, but doubt it will happen. The NBA no more wants to taken on a battle with the Lakers ownership any more than the NFL didnt want to take on a battle with Kraft and the NE Patriots. Practically speaking, there is more than a 1 game suspension possibility. With the NBA's stricter rules on "game violence", directed action against a player, official or fan can be easily translated into assault. No differrnt than throwing paper cups onto the court or at a player . I think you may underestimate the discussions going on today with Stern and the Laker organization. But would be very surpirzed if Stern held to "policy" and issued anything other than a "strongly worded warning" to Kobe and the Lakers. Lets see what happens.

I guess two technical fouls and an ejection is not enough?

I get the feeling that if Gerald Wallace had done these things in L.A., he would have been suspended for at least a game. No reason why Kobe can't either, he's no more human or less responsible for his actions than any other player...

To Unbiased...actually it may not be. If my count is right, that brings Kobe's uncontrolled agression to 15 technicals for the season. One more and its an automatic 1 game suspension. So truth be told Unbiased...you may be right...it ISN'T enough...

And Bonnell....you dont know where the "DELETE" button is on your computer? Clean yourself up too for lettin this hoodlum language on your blog show. You old enough to know better! And here I thought you was a good boy...have Mercy! Sean's Momma' work is just never done...

Come on, Mama May...did you really expect Kobe to have more decorum on this blog than he exhibited walking off the court last night?

The NBA won't do anything (well, very little) to Kobe. He is a star to them and they have turned into complete Wh*res for their interest. That's why I abandoned he NBA. I was at the last Hornets game in CHarlotte and witnessed the complete and total dismisal of the Hornets in their playoff run. The refs called nothing in the Hornets behalf and everyone in the arena knew it! It was so obvious that there were gasps from the crowd, including mine. The NBA can fail tomorrow and I wouldn't be sorry. Seeds planted bring harvest......

Michael Proton..this heres Seans momma again. I expect that Kobe boy to be settin' a fine example for all them millions he get paid. Shoot! I be paid them kinda millions I be actin' like sweet Mary herself! Instead, that boy act like he better than everyone else. I tell my baby Sean all the time "Dont you be actin' like no fool makin' that $2.5 million a year. Ridin' the bench not easy. Give you all them nasty sores and all. Dont you be complainin like you got them rhoids or somethin. Be polite and act like yo Momma raised ya. Not like that hoodlum Kobe"

So I tell ya Michael Proton...Seans Momma expects better from these boys. Look at ole Jerry Walace and Ray-Ray. Even ole Mr J-Rich, Oakey and Matty. They fine young men. Actin proud. Takin there Mommas to services on Sunday when they home. Not shakin' themselves all over them hoochy girls at the Gentlemens Club. Puttin them dollar bills in private places. God only knows where them dollar bills been"

So you boys on this blog show. Start actn' like you had a momma and not somethin' that just drop you out and push you under some branches or leaves. My baby Sean he may not be doin' much but sittn' round eatin' and lookin like somebody stole his bike...but least he act proper so he can get himself a real job next year. Maybe workin down there on that Cats' Line Train so he can take his Momma out for a ride from time to ti.me. Makin' me proud.

BTW Michael Proton, I notice you call me Momma May. I like that. You know how to show Momma some respect. You obviously werent raised by no wolves like some of these other hoodlums on this show.

hey Tom P..its funny stuff...obviously you're not smart enough to catch the sports digs about the unproductive quality of May...you must be one of those supporters that backs all the profanity in these blogs by young unemployed sociopaths with severe anger management problems...I'll take the momma blog any day...besides...it does a good job of blasting May w/o ever really blasting him....keep it commin' Moma May..its a nice change of pace!

Rick, have you commented on the ESPN report that Vincent is on the way out

I understand that the unnamed charlotte coliseum was filled and loud Saturday night during the tar heel game. Some one told me that they had not heard that much noise in the charlotte coliseum since my hornets played there.

Wonder what ole Bob thinks about an empty arena returning when the bobscats return from their successful road trip. I think the reason they played well out west was to try and entice some of the western teams to try and trade for them and get them out of that sorry team they are with.
