May will be activated tonight

Sean May will be activated for the first time in six games, tonight against the Denver Nuggets, according to coach Larry Brown. May started all eight preseason games, and then the season-opener in Cleveland.

Then Brown and managing partner Michael Jordan decided to shelve him for awhile to address conditioning concerns.

I have no feel for how long -- or if -- May will play tonight.

May played tonight for about 30 seconds and looked horrible when he threw up a brick from 15 feet and waddled back on defense

This team still needs A LOT of work. Poor LB, but if the Bobcats are patient, unlike the Knicks, I think he can help turn things around.

May was not very impressive but he really didn't get much of a chance. Bobcats made a lot of mistakes last night. I was at the game and it will probably be the last game i attend this season. The few thousand people that were there were falling asleep. The place was dead. I had good seats but the money it costs to attend and the entertainment value just don't match up. I think we might have to wait another year or two to see a playoff team although I hope I am wrong.

could somebody out there help me with what number channel fox sport south is on time warner cable? know the bobcats are broadcast for most of the games there but seems like the broadcast of FSN switches from like 40-something to 60-something. thanks for the help

From what I have seen thus far, the Bobcats have got to make a trade sooner rather than later. As much as I like Wallace, he seems to be to only player with much trade value. We have got to get a PF that can function with Emeka down low. I heard rumors of Carroll for Williams and Hassell from NJ. This would be a good start. We obviously need a post scoring threat to keep us from settling for jump shots. The fact the we love to shoot jump shoots would only be benefited by getting a post scorer. We need to make a move and make a move now.

I attended the last two games against the raps and nuggets. Both games were very discouraging, as they followed almost the exact same formula in losing. As much as LB preaches about attacking the basket, when the game was on the line in the 2nd half the cats were throwing up long jumpers almost every time down the court, while the other teams were getting dunks, layups, or free throws almost at will. Very upsetting because you think after the first game they would have learned something... even the final scores were very similar. And as much as we can talk trade the bottom line is that you're only as good as your best player, and there are no superstars available to make this team any better. Hopefully the lottery balls are kind to us next year (and we don't screw up the picks...again).

Does anyone else find it more than slightly a little ironic that NOW the Bobcats are interested in Sean Williams from NJ?!?! Does anyone remember not so long ago, NJ offered the Cats: Bostjian Nachbar and the #17 pick in the 2007 draft…. Anyone care to fathom a wild guess at who was #17… YEP, none other than Sean Williams! Would anyone be missing Stay puff May…? Uhhhh, NO!

As for May’s activation, here's a recap of his incredible time out on the court last night, he entered the court @ the beginning of 4th qtr… He was on the court a mere 12 seconds of actual court time before jacking up his first shot, a 20ft jumper @ 11:48 of the 4th qtr, nice way to work yourself into the flow of the game Dough boy. As mentioned earlier, he then got caught in a switch but was bailed out with a poor 3pt shot by JR Smith; that was followed by a JR Smith rb (yes, wasn’t May guarding him, how come no block out?) and a Melo score. This was followed by a back cut and pass by Dough boy for his only positive stat… an Assist to Ray-ray. He was replaced 1 minute later by Emeka as Nene re-entered the game at 9:33. 2 minutes 27 seconds of run… Scintillating huh!

Please just release him, no one is going to give us two squirts of doggie-doo for his overweight, outta-shape lard azz.

That was pathetic. Get rid of may, trade felton. Get rid of MJ and Bob Johnson. Hire someone that knows something about basketball.

If I were a Bobcat, the next time I saw Sean May stuffing his face full of pizza and cocktails I would smack him. Especially when the rest of the team, no mater how makeshift, are working their tails off for an outside chance of making the playoffs.

This SOB is going to make $2,661,026 this year, that's $221,752.16 a month, or $32,451.54 a game and he is too fat to play.

$221,752.16 a month and has rolls of fat on the back of his neck.

$221,752.16 a month and can't watch a game with out a sweat rag.

$221,752.16 and has to take the elevator to the second floor of Elizabeth Village to cheat on his girlfriend.

$221,752.16 and single handedly ran everyone out of Phil's Tavern.

Not only do we need to cut him, but I find it only fair that we ask him to leave Charlotte.

Go Bobcats!

Sean May should be arrested for stealing money from the Bobcats. If you add up all of his game time he has played in he has not play a full season however they continue to pay him. A REAL BUST!!!!!! with no trade VALUE.

Guys, bashing May is kind of like bashing Milli Vanilli. It's too obvious and too easy!! C'mon, give me something I haven't thought of before.
