Carter wants to play, after all

Now it looks like Orlando's Vince Carter might play tonight against the Bobcats, IF he can convince Magic coach Stan Van Gundy his sprained left ankle is well enough to play defense.

Carter sat out all of the Magic's morning walk-through at Time Warner Cable Arena, so Van Gundy pronounced him out, leaving the Magic down to nine able-bodied players. Then Carter started feeling better this afternoon and said he wanted to test the ankle in warm-ups, to see if he's well enough to play.

Clearly, Van Gundy has misgivings.

"It's strange, because he didn't even go through a walk-through'' of the team's plays this morning, Van Gundy said. "I have doubts he's ready to play. I told him to do some one-on-one'' pre-game, to test his lateral movement.

Vince Carter is a waste of immense talent. He has no heart and no winner's attitude. He's no different than his cousin.

We are going to have to bring our starting center off the bench, to protect him from the Ref.s.

Can we get some respect at home? NO!

yea vince playing was pretty much the difference in this one. that and the inactive choices. derrick brown is OBVIOUSLY better than stephen graham. and lord knows ajinca can't guard dwight howard but neither can diop. atleast ajinca or brown can bring a spark when you're team is down 20.

diop...3 minutes....2 turnovers. thanks.

diaw and wallace combined to miss 8 layups or dunks.

Told y'all Tyson isn't better than Okafor, and wouldn't make us a better team.

Tyson isn't the problem. I hate to break it to his non-supporters, but Howard gets just about every 5 in foul trouble and the fouls were just plain and simple BS. i mean the offensive rebound one was the worst, howard jumped up unrestricted in any way but just mistimed the rebound, any contact had absolutely no impact on the play nor was it solely on behalf of tyson. and that was a huge momentum killer.
