Chandler out with back spasms

Charlotte Bobcats center Tyson Chandler left Wednesday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers with back spasms late in the first half and is not expected to return.

That's a shame because Chandler seemed to be getting some rhythm back -- he played 15 minutes of the first half without fouling and scored seven points off four shots.

The Bobcats don't anticipate Chandler's injury being particularly serious. He's being treated with heat and stretching exercises.

This team has changed a lot since Brown took over as coach....It is now time to consider firing him from coaching this team. This team is not getting any better, trades upon trades has never yielded good results. Jackson has started playing good, but is this trade going to make the team a play-off team? I doubt it.

Fire Brown and replace him with another coach. He traded Richardson, the best offensive player this team had for Bell and Diaw, who were not starters with the Suns. Now Bell is traded after just seven months with the team. Ramonovic was also acquired for Brown and Morrison, but Brown is playing better for what Romanovic was doing here for the Cats.

Byron Scott or Avery Johnson will do better as coaches for this team.....he (Brown) set down good players that plays better than his so call center, Tyson Chandler, an injury prone player. Nazir is playing better center than his starting center......why is Mohammed not starting at the center than Tyson? Is there fovoritism here?

Also, acquire AI and improve both your guard position and the offense. Jackson is not better than AI when it come to on and off the court troubles. This guy is still popular and the team will sell a lot tickets. With DJ and Felton being status-quo guards for this team, this team offense is not going to improve. Also, allow the rookies (Brown & Gerald) some playing time to gain some NBA experience. Don't keep them on the bench and be paying them.

nunu, you're jumping the gun a bit there buddy. Besides, if we fire LB, who's gonna have the balls to tell MJ not to make stupid trades? I do think Felton needs a change of scenery though.

Can't wait until next years over...

...meaning, Chandler's contract is up and we can go out and get an everyday Center...

We need Okafor.

Talk about hitting the panic button! If anything, this team has had too much change in recent months.

Rather than making another big trade or firing the coach or signing a diva like Iverson, the best thing for the Bobcats could be stability. Just let this group of guys play together for a while and see if they gel. More upheaval isn't what the 'Cats need right now.
