Diop, Ajinca both inactive
Interesting call Charlotte Bobcats coach Larry Brown made by de-activating big men Alexis Ajinca and Gana Diop versus the Atlanta Hawks.
Brown said at morning shootaround that he'd determine which 12 players were activated on a game-to-game basis, based partially on how best to match up with the opponent. But it makes a bit of a statement, both about rookie Derrick Brown's effort and Ajinca's and Diop's lack of productivity, that the coach went in this direction Friday.

I actually thought Ajinca had a very nice preseason, but he must have done something to piss of LB behind closed doors. Not even getting garbage time minutes?

Well, according to Coach B, guys like Stephen Graham "play the right way" while his coveted draft choice rots and likely won't get his options picked up.
As for Stephen Jackson, please bring him in. Ditch Diop with either Felton or Bell's expiring deal. (please Felton!) Honestly if I were GS I'd likely do the deal if it were Bell & Diop/Nazr. You save 4+ mil for the next two years and get size out west.

T-Bone, I was frustrated as well last season that Bobcats games were not on my NBA League pass which I purchased for the sole reason to see Bobcat games.Contacted everyone and was given blackout reasons which I understand. Problem was Fox Carolinas in not in Asheville viewing area
which should'nt be subject to blackout restrictions. Finally able to see games 1/2 way thru season. No problems this year.

nick....for starters ajinca's option was picked up last week. to continue, golden state isn't gonna take a deal involving diop's contract. nobody is. and stephen jackson has a terrible contract also and plays a position we're already set at. and felton can't be traded without signing off on it on the 1 year qualifying offer.
anybody got any attendence numbers on the game? 6,000? 4,000? nobody is going to the games at all. lower bowl, front row, you name it there are empty seats every game we're not playing lebron or kobe.

PAID attendance was announced as 15,874
the team doesn't announce the 'turn style' count.

there definitely hasn't been more than 10,000 at the games thus far. they can announce what they want but the cameras don't lie and the noise level makes it obvious. I can hear larry brown clearly every play.
