Law might be activated tonight
If shootaround is any indication, point guard Acie Law might suit up tonight for the first time as a Charlotte Bobcat.
Looks like big men Gana Diop and Alexis Ajinca will be inactive for the home game against the Toronto Raptors. That's not set in stone -- a final decision doesn't have to be made until about an hour before game time -- but that makes sense. Toronto's starting big men, Andrea Bargnani and Chris Bosh, spend as much time along the perimeter as near the basket, so Diop and Ajinca probably wouldn't be much help guarding them.
Guys like Derrick Brown and Stephen Graham probably make more sense, for their quickness, in this situation.

actually ajinca benefits going against guys that play away from the basket. its the bangers he can't handle.

Charlottean:
I know what you mean about Ajinca, but it's more complicated than that. Bargnani, for instance, has become adept at going out to the perimeter, and when a big tries to crowd him on the jump shot, he'll pump-fake and drive to the rim. That's a formula for three Ajinca fouls right now.
