That was right up there among the worst games in Bobcats history, and I have seen the vast majority of them.
I wasn't in Auburn Hills, but it was telling when I heard Larry Brown took so long to open the locker room to the media. That means he let them have it forever, and that was appropriate. It took a quarter before the Bobcats fell apart, but there are themes emerging: A huge halftime deficit, an erosion in the formula they'd assembled (defend, drive, rebound) and a sense of surrender.
They're in for two challenging days of practice, but not the kind you expect. Many of you want punishment. Brown will regain his temper overnight, then start teaching. He should have their attention. And if he doesn't, shame on the players.
