damn.....was hoping for a game on Friday night. 2pm game on Saturday....not so good.

We didn't exactly get "primetime" scheduling.

I like this. Mid day games can be fun and nobody should have an issue. Some kids can come out. It is on TNT which is cool and I doubt there will be any other mid day games so the nation will see us.

Hey at least we got a Saturday game and not a weekday game like a Wednesday. People can make a day of it and go uptown for lunch, etc.

I'm glad it's on Saturday, but I would've preferred the game happen Saturday night...
I'm glad it wasn't Friday night, so I can devote attention to the NFL Draft for the Panthers.

I cant wait for the playoffs to start! i have my tickets ready for Saturdays game! On a sadder note, some raccoons got into the garden again and ate all the asparagus:(

I lucked out a bit, as I have an all-day seminar Saturday and would have hated to miss the opener. Hell, I even watch preseason games if I have a chance, no need to start missing games in the playoffs. Thanks NBA scheduling czars.

Charlotte will win the series in 6 games. Mark it down!

Saturday day games probably get better ratings than Saturday night games. I'm talking nationally, not just local.

Uh, I think Game 4 isn't "TBD". If there's seven games then there has to be at least 4 games played...

Uh, I think "TBD" meant gametime TBD, as in if there is no West Coast game that night, then it'll probably be an 8:00-8:30pm start. If there is a West Coast game then it'll be a 7:00 game start so the west coast game can be shown after. That is why games 5-7 were designated "*", meaning if necessary.

Guest, the time itself hasn't been locked in yet. Arenas have to deal with concert holds, alternate property priority dates, scheduling conflicts, union constraints, etc., not to mention the layering of the national television schedules and team flights.
I mean, its one thing to ask a question that you simply may not have known the answer to, but you look ridiculous when utilizing a snarky comment for an easy explanation.

I am glad it is a Saturday game over a Friday game. Can't wait to get out there at 8 am and Tailgate like we do for the Panthers!

Not thrilled about the 2pm start, but not a big deal. My brother and I are driving in from Raleigh, so I'm just glad it's on the weekend. Gonna be tough but I think we have a real chance here. Obviously, stealing a game in Orlando would be a huge, especially the way we've played at home this year. Both home games should be sold out.

Glad its a saturday game! Im coming down from DC to make the Game and traffic on 95 on a friday would have been hell...I cant wait to see them on TNT too. Hopefully there will be more games on nationally televised next year. Like the Thunder had this year.
Lets Get It Cats!!!

I was at the game last night and was surprised by all the empty seats. I thought the final game would bring in the fans. Let's hope the high end fans who sit close to the court will actually SIT in their seats during the playoff games. Too many of them were empty.
The game was fun nonetheless, although the Bobcats lost.
