Observations from Wednesday's game

My observations in Thursday's Observer:

-- The way things are going -- Larry Brown playing Boris Diaw at point guard and maybe Stephen Jackson there soon – the biggest question is when Shaun Livingston’s knee will be well enough to play. And nobody knows.

Brown sounded more hopeful than confident about what’s next, mentioning they have seven days left until the games count to try to get Livingston ready.

I wonder, if Livingston isn’t ready, if they’d consider waiving Collins to sign a more experienced point guard who falls off another roster.

-- I don’t speak Italian, but I’m guessing “Belinelli’’ translates to “Never leave me alone at the 3-point line.’’ Hornets shooting guard Marco Belinelli hit six of 10 3s.

-- Ex-Bobcats center Emeka Okafor never played Wednesday for the Hornets. I spoke with him before the game, and I have to say he’s reworked his body; sculpted as ever, but less football-player blocky.

-- Wednesday’s overtime illustrated how Brown would ideally use this roster, so long as the small lineup (Diaw at center, Tyrus Thomas at power forward) can match up with the other team.

Thomas was terrific in the OT, with four points and five rebounds.

Daniel Green has come off waviers Rick, think the Cats could use a guard/forward that has a shooting touch. Hopefully they look at this guy, because he can play.

WOW Rick you came up with that yourself or did you copy-paste it off the internet.Your humour is better than your player analysis at least, unfortunately.

danny green? would love to have him but the last thing we would need right now would be a 2 a 3 or a 4. do you guys even watch basketball or do you just go on message boards and rattle away random thoughts of things you read off of some twitter feed? incredible.

Doesn't matter what Okafor looks like. He stretches too much. Just ask Brown. He'd rather Tyson Chandler keep him company on the bench.

tb, are you serious? A guy who couldn't beat out some clown named Manny Harris for an awful team like the Cavs? Please.
