Kwame Brown may play tonight
Charlotte Bobcats big man Kwame Brown might play tonight against the Minnesota Timberwolves, after missing all the preseason and the first 10 games with a severe ankle sprain.
Brown told me after shootaround this morning that he'll have a CT scan today, and assuming everything checks out, he should be available to play.
"It's all right. I've just got to get my explosion down,'' Brown said of how he feels physically.
If Brown plays, you'll see him in goggles. He scratched a cornea and has been advised to start wearing the goggles as protection. He's still getting used to them, particularly how lenses can fog up when you're sweating.
Gerald Henderson (inflammation in his left knee) was sitting when shootaround was opened to media today, so it seems likely he'll miss his second straight game.
Tyrus Thomas was back, after missing Saturday's game due to a death in his family.

sounds good (except the henderson situation).
this is a huge game tonight because minnesota seems to be starting to get it together with their young'ns and their coach and it's a home game against a non contender.....we've got to win all of those.

I can't wait for this game tonight! I'll finally be able to watch it on TV, since I live in the 'burbs of Minneapolis. It'll be nice to see Love vs. Diaw, Tyrus, Nazr, Kwame. That, and maybe JAX cuts down on the TO's?

Henderson needs to get healthy and then LB need to give him some minutes. Even if they're garabe minutes, he needs to see some more court time. We have to start getting some return for our draft picks.

anything to get Diop less minutes is alright with me...

Rick, do you know who died in his family??? That would likely weigh on his performance if it is his Mother, Father, Grandmother or someone like that

Kwame is active, with Henderson, Dom McGuire and Eduardo Najera all active.

wow. thanks go out to time warner and it's high tech innovations in television that managed to delete the entire 3rd quarter but leave the rest of the game on the dvarrrah with no reason for conflict or anything. very frustrating.
nonetheless......16 turnovers with 7 of em coming from tyrus.....not too bad. and atleast 2 of them were completely meaningless turnovers like at the end of a quarter or whatever. and tyrus' did plenty to offset his 7 turnovers esp. 4 blocks and 2 steals. the guy was huge tonight.
jack finally had a complete game inside/out/no turnovers/moved the ball. he played near perfect 2nd half after a rough 1st half.
jury is back with its verdict.....augustin > felton.
