Friday's injury/illness update

It looks like Gerald Wallace (ankle) and Nazr Mohammed (bruised knee) will still be out for Saturday's Charlotte Bobcats home game against the Washington Wizards. The open question is whether Stephen Jackson and/or Tyrus Thomas plays.

Jackson (hyper-extended knee) participated in a portion of Friday's practice. He said the pain has lessened but isn't yet gone. He said it's likely he'll play against the Wizards.

Thomas has a stomach bug that kept him home Friday. Coach Paul Silas said he anticipates Thomas being well enough to play Saturday.

It sounds like Mohammed could be back for Monday's home game against Memphis. Wallace's return figures to be longer out. Silas hopes Wallace will be back by next Friday's game in Boston.
