Temple gets second 10-day

As expected, the Charlotte Bobcats signed Garrett Temple to a second 10-day contract. When the second 10-day expires, the Bobcats will have to either sign him for the rest of the season or release him.

Any update on what was with Stephen Jackson during the Houston game? He seemed to be playing with an injury. He couldn't find a shot, and really hurt the team with his poor defense.

Mike, his injury is that he doesn't want to be on a rebuilding team. Whether MJ admits it or not, trading your best player means your rebuilding.

If we pull off an 8 seed with THIS group of youngns, face chicago and COMPETE in some games....its going to be insanely valuable to the young guys. Jackson and diaw will be replaced in the next 366 days. We've got 6 legit rotation guys under 26. If we can add 2 more (a 5 and a 3) then we could be really good.

That being said I have almost no faith in higgins and jordan getting it done.

Are you worried about getting young or getting wins cause you seem to harp on being young a lot. I like young guys as well i mean quality but this is no OkC here. Draft a quality guy and get something in free agency. I agree Jack and Diaw will be replaced after their contracts. But this core is not championship calibur. We need to get that way. I like a big name maybe Chris Paul replacing DJ of course D Howard, but we need shooters as well. Jimmer from Byu, Harrison from NC, Walker from Georgetown. Kaman not that old and is a nice move as well as Danny Granger, but we need a veteran maybe in the 26 to 30 range to guide these guys

Walker from Georgetown? I think you mean UCONN. We need to go after Jordan Hamilton because he will be available at 10 and fits a need. He is pure offense but loves to rebound and plays in the offense. Him with Gerald is perfect. Jax and Diaw will be traded in offseason clearing room for our new SF (hopfully hamilton) and with second first rounder we should go for keith benson or nolan smith to address either the C position or backup PG position.

My bad I did mean Uconn. Yeah it all depends where the cards fall because Cleveland, Minnesota, and some others may be ahead to get picks from us, but we will be fine.
