Video: Bobcats suffer their worst blowout ever

The Charlotte Bobcats suffered their largest blowout loss in franchise history to the Oklahoma City Thunder on the road on Monday night, 114-69. Jeffery Taylor had a team-high 10 points.

This was a very kind video. I mean down almost 60 and they pull starters and we still look flat lined. I think for many of us who were getting way over excited and ahead of things for our start it was a harsh reminder we still have long road ahead.
And we need to stop shooting threes and work down low as we can't shoot them worth a damn
We need a nice recovery game in Atlanta.
Clearly we are safely still a lottery level team

I think it's safe to say that we're gonna have a few of these games, especially on the road out West. The challenge for the coaches and players is to learn from these beatdowns and move on, not revert back to being last year's team.

I was laughing the entire game. Not in a mean we suck kind of way...more like when you hit your funny bone really hard and want to curse but have to laugh sort of way. At one point it was 79-25...in the third quarter! 25 points should be 1 quarter of scoring, not 2 1/2 quarters! We must get the injured players back soon, or we will definitely go well below .500 quickly.

I mean.....it's OKC.

you go cold against them and it's over because they don't. you have to play pretty flawless against teams like them. we played very well against memphis and almost pulled it out, we didn't here.

it's going to happen. hopefully this is a motivator for the team and not a morale drain. they should be going super hard today as a result. take out that pain on atlanta.

we haven't beaten a contender at full strength yet so there's no surprise there. we've been beating injury depleted teams.

We need Henderson and Biyombo back FAST!!!

This game is the result of a 2011-12 Western Conference Champs that were simply on fire, vs a 2011-12 Worst Team Ever that couldn't throw a coconut into the ocean. The Cats were getting wide-open looks during the entire first half that didn't go. The Thunder were making every single shot regardless of how easy or difficult it was.

I do like the fact that now this players will come to terms with reality and learn (the hard way) that nobody will give them anything (including respect), they will have to earn it the hard way. If they want to be respected in this league, they need to learn from games like these. The Thunder surely came out of the gate like they were playing the Heat, and the Cats forgot that the Washington game ended two nights before.

Still...future looks bright for these kids...LET's GO CATS!!!

The only good thing about this game, is that after some research I actually got excited. All Bobcats fans know that we are trying to follow the OKC model in order to build our team.

Well on Westbrooks rookie season (2008-09) the OKC Thunder had Kevin Durant, Westbrook, Jeff Green, Nick Collison, Chris Wilcox (in his peak) and they lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers on the road by 35, and the 1st hal ended 66-32 Cavs.

That Cleveland Team was not as good as OKC is right now, and OKC was at the time (before Harden)just a rebuilding team with some pieces and a lot of hope (like the 2012-13 Bobcats). Last night's game resembles that game of OKC vs the Cavs 5 years ago...meaning...

...if everything else holds true, in two years we will win 50 games, in three years we will have a contender in Charlotte and in four years we will win the East and play in the NBA Finals...I'll take that any day...LOL - In Cho we Trust!!!

this was an obvious throw away game. not worth the plane ticket. the real test is tomorrow in atlanta. we owe those guys one. if early season signs are valid, the cats will bounce back with tenacity and put one on the hawks.

Let's rebound against thr Hawks. Play some defense and win in overtime.

What Dunlap has done to date is miraculous. The sad thing is if we were crunched this bad, but still have won 7 games, what does that say about the rest of the NBA.

"In cho we trust"

Should be the official bobcats slogan. Ive been saying it a few weeks now, first time i saw someone else say it. The mullens move, drafting taylor, trading to draft biyombo, haywood, etc. Dudes resume looks a lot better right now than it did a year ago.

They are still only going to win 30 or so games this year but it's still encouraging knowing they have an identity and the pieces in place going forward.
