Gerald Henderson throws errant pass, hits woman, apologizes

Gerald Henderson had five turnovers in the Bobcats' 92-76 home victory against the Bucks on Friday night, but there was one in particular that had him apologizing after the game.

In the third quarter of Charlotte's runaway win, Henderson attempted a cross-court pass to a teammate and hit a woman walking behind the Bucks' bench.

A Bobcats events employee said the woman was taken to the hospital for precautionary reasons but that she appeared to be OK.

After the game, Henderson tweeted a mea culpa.

The Bobcats also gave the woman a signed pair of Henderson's game-worn sneakers.

Also, Nice gesture by Hendo and the Cats. One thing is for sure, they don't miss many opportunities to do the right things. Great job on Thanksgiving as well.

Best Al has looked, granted it was the Bucks. Getting in shape and healthy. The Heat will kill them, but I will watch to see if they can exploit Al against a good team. The Heat don't have much in the post. Biz coming in off the bench is a nice fit. If the second team has trouble scoring, at least Biz can help defend and rebound. MKG out might be a good thing. Gets others minutes and changes the rotations a bit. Might be better when he comes back.

I respectfully will pass my minutes to Bizmack. 14 rebounds in 20 minutes.. He deserves them.

Shortly after halftime. Lady was one of the fans returning to her seat.
Playing the worst team in the NBA - Milwaukee
Row 1 to 4 seats are expensive.
The upper deck was filled last night.
Attendance was 15,081.

Bad pass. Classy move by Henderson. Bobcats definitely have a group of players that are easy to cheer for. 8 - 9. I will take that. I am good if they get a couple of mid round picks. I would rather go the trade route and get a player I know can play.

Why in the world would anyone post the kind of stuff this NASTAR freak posts?

Just when you think you have good seats...you still end up in the nose bleeds.

Jay, that's a good one!

Seats, you think that lady had the whole front row to herself? Problem with your and STH's logic is those seats are empty on a nightly basis. Not quite that empty but less than 50% is very common. If you believe 15k were there last night you're, well, let's just say extremely gullible.

nobody in the seats because the seats are still Bobcat colored. ;>

That hurt??? Really??? Not like getting beaned by an errant Nolan Ryan fastball or a tight Tom Brady spiral.

It was a lob and it bounced off an unsuspecting person. Hell, she'll still probably get some sleazeball lawyer and sue for more!
