Panthers getting close
We're closing in on the Panthers going on the clock again. Lots of good possibilities hanging out there:
Florida safety Reggie Nelson
Miami safety Brandon Meriweather
Penn State linebacker Paul Posluszny
Miami tight end Greg Olsen
LSU wide receiver Dwayne Bowe
Tennessee wide receiver Robert Meachem

I must admit, I'd rather get Olsen if we take a pass catcher. At least he can PRETEND to play tight end.

Obviously locked in on this guy and lacked the guts to take better players they didn't expect to be available. They wasted a first round pick on a guy who is likely to be an NFL starter and extremely unlikely to every be a major force when there were decent bets to be major contributors on the board. Too bad.

haha u name all those players and the panthers don't take any of them...this is why mock drafts are a waste of time. cant project this stuff anymore.
