Diggs' injury 'just a hiccup'

SPARTANBURG -- Doesn’t sound as if the hamstring injury to Na’il Diggs is serious.

"This is unfortunate, but it’s just a little hiccup for me," Diggs said at lunch Tuesday. "It’s a very small bump in the road. I’ll get over it very fast and just get back to doing what I’m doing.’’

Diggs was injured Monday morning and sat out Monday night’s practice. He said he didn’t strain the hamstring but is experiencing some tightness. He probably won’t practice Tuesday afternoon but could return in the next few days. With rookie Jon Beason holding out, second-year pro James Anderson will work in Diggs’ spot with the first team.

Good news, where is Beason and why can the Panthers make the deal happen?

Who? Is that the guy that threatened to kill someone?

6-10 season, here we come.

Bust out those paper bag masks at the first home game!

Idiot Will,
I thought I told you on a prior comment page to stay the hell off the Panther blog. You suck; take your garbage remarks somewhere else. Get a life and find something else better to do than bash the Panthers, especially on a Panther blog. TAKE A HIKE LOSER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why are you guys hatin on Will? As the song goes, haters gonna hate... The fact is that Anderson is going to be pretty good, and with Morgan and Thomas Davis (provided Morgan is healthy), our LB crew is going to be good this year. Beason can hold out if he wants, but when he comes in, he'll still have time to learn since the four guys I mentioned, plus Diggs, give us a good rotation. We'll be good to go this year. As for anyone who says we're going 6-10 again, well we haven't lost 10 games in a season since two years before we won the conference championship game, so those comments hold no weight.

It's not fun to cheer on an overhyped team that's gonna finish 6-10.

You'll all realize that too, about midway through the season, when the stands are half empty, and 1/2 of the idiots that actually did decide to attend are wearing the paper bag masks.

6-10, or if you're optimistic, 7-9.

Book it.

Don't say I didn't tell ya.

What game are you watching? Panthers had a bad year last year and still finished 50-50. They will be better this year with a decent Offensive Coordinator.

Hey fellow panther fans just ignore this guy will, I've been seeing him on blogs for like the past week and he is obviously just some lonely fan of some crappy team and is starving for some attention by bad mouthing our squad. Dont even respond to his BS and just ignore the asshole and maybe he'll just go away. GO PANTHERS!

Right on Matt, Will sucks a big one

Posted by: bra | Aug 1, 2007 2:38:00 PM

The Panthers had a bad year because they are a bad team, which got even worse this year.

Good job not bringing Keyshawn back. I know you Richardson nut sack lickers probably found some way to justify the move, the same way you'll be justifying when everyone WR not named Steve Smith sucks.

Sure, Keyshawn wasn't the best person and was an admitted criminal, but so are 86% of the other Panthers.

Will, unlike a lot of the other Panther fans, I'd like you to post here all season. All season. That means the playoffs and the Superbowl hype. We'll see who licks nut sac, you nut sac licking bastard. Show a set and tell us who YOUR team is. Until then...

Maybe Will is really Bill, as in Maas, the original brain-challenged Panther hater, getting his kicks pre-prison?
