Summing it up

A good quote on the state of the team from guard Mike Wahle that just missed getting into today's paper...

“When you lose four games in a row and haven’t won in a month-and-a-half, a lot of things can come into play as far as self-doubt and in-fighting; things like that," Whale said. "And I think that we’ve been pretty good about that. I think that’s a positive. But at the same time, you have to show up on Sunday’s and make it happen. It doesn’t really matter what’s going on in the locker room, positive or negative.” --STAN OLSON

It pains me to say this but I have finaly admited that there is no hope for this season and maybe the next couple. We need to completely retool our team. QB 1st! Bye Bye Davidson! Bye Fox! Bye Bye Turdosack! Maybe we'll at least get a nice pick in the draft. I never thought that I would be ready for football season to end but I am. Bye Bye painful NFL season... hello #1 Carolina Tarheels! lets go heels!!!

For Fox not to play Moore at this point shows stubborness for its own sake. Carr cannot deliver this team, or any other. Put in Moore, stretch the field, tell him to scramble if he sees daylight, and bench Foster. This is the most maddening decision-making I have ever seen.

This was written before Foster's second fumble, probably will be overuled on review, but regardless, what is the goal of this staff? It can't be to win games. To run that stiff Hoover, who didn't even look up, on the fourth and one they went for, was even dumber. The Saints have one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL, and all we do is run our same crap at them. If Davidson has been given free room to call plays, fire him

Sing it Dandy Don. Turn out the lights...

John Fox is a "has-been." He's ignorant in starting a quarterback that can't play without getting sacked 7 times and holding the all-time record for sacks. He's foolish in thinking that a 70yr old quarterback can win more than 1 game. At this point, why not start a young quarterback with a strong arm? What's the worse Matt Moore can do? No worse than getting sacked or getting his hip replaced.

Please make it stop...Hope Mr. Richardson likes Fox showing empty seats on TV. What a joke. Julius Peppers has checked out. Coaches have checked out...the fans should check out. This is on the coach and GM for doing NOTHING in the offseason to make this team better. At least there is a chance my fantasy team can make the playoffs. What stinks now is we will be forced to watch the Panthers play on TV since we live in NC. WHAT A JOKE!!!

AAAAUUUUURRRGGGGGHHHH!!!!!

Throw it up for grabs, you hipster dufus. What Justin Timberlake ensemble will Carr give his post-game in. By the way, love the black gloves.

why is carr still a panther? put in moore, release carr.

maybe if carr spent more time being a qb than fashion statements, then carr could do something more than throwing pickles and getting sacked.

Moore coming in, when it is a lost cause of course. Brees is the difference in this game. The announcer just said it great. Carr has proven he can't play, but Moore has to prove he can. You don't put him in when it is garbage time. Fox, take your head out of your ass. Richardson, what do you think of the stands, oh wait, you don't care, because those seats are all paid for. At least the remaining fans will be well behaved.

We have failed to get the right players in the draft and sign people worth the money. This team will need at least two years under a new head coach to make the playoffs.

Excellent teams overachieve. A good team sometimes underachieves, but a bad team cannot achieve without some help. Where is the help for the Panthers.

We need people who will get the players that are good and not because they come from a big "offensive" machine in college.

Look at the Draft since 2002 of players still playing on a regular basis.

02' - Peppers(1) & Foster (2)
03' - Gross(1) & Morehead(5)
04' - Gamble(1), Colbert(2), Wharton(3), & Carter(5)
05' - Davis(1)
06' - Williams(1), Marshall(2), & King(5)
07' - Beason(1)

Where the next set of pro bowlers? Superstars?
We have some good players but where is the talent?

We need a good, quality, "young" offensive minded coach who has done a lot with little. Our last two defensive minded coaches have not been consistently successful.

No disrespect to Vinny, but it's obvious that at his age, we can't waste a weeks worth of first team reps on a QB whose body is liable to fail minutes before kickoff. gives those reps to Moore.

Fox is a decent coach; however, right now he needs some time away from the game. the game has evolved and he needs to catch up.

This season has been over since the last off season. No free agents were signed except for Carr and a no name offensive coordinator was hired. Only one good player was selected in 2007 draft. This was a bad season waiting to happen.

To qualify "Suming it up" = SHIT

Instead of watching this crap....there was figure skating on!!! You might have seen more effort and more entertainment. LOL

Actually give Carr soem ice skates and he would be perfect. A girly man with matching gloves...Sorry Fox you might get a reprive but the GM has been killing us with horrible personel moves and drafts. You didi get us to the superbowl, so the lack of a decent quarterback might be the excuse you need to get one more shot. Thr GM has no such excuses because he is the one given you the spent amunition.

As usual hard to watch and ugly....So SAD
:(

Mr Richardson:

If you do not get rid of John Fox then I cannot ever hang with you.

I am freaking done with this team. And Jerry, so are many others. I guess you will just take the bojangles earnings if there are any and some how make it through this.

I have a feeling that it is over for this team and coach.....i will hang with you when you make the change.

Peace

I hoped Carr, when in new surroundings, would be different than when he was here in Houston.

As sick as y'all are of him after 2/3 season, just think how we Texans fans felt after 5 years.

Carr is one of those guys who will never embarrass the team by off-field antics, but it's apparent he's an on-field liability for any team that would be foolish enough to sign him in coming seasons.

Mr Richardson, you should fire your GM for signing a #1 draft pick who's proven only that he can take a beating and throw INT's.

Come to Charlotte and see the TOILET BOWL as opposed to the SUPERBOWL...THANK YOU RICHARDSON'S
