Next pro day workout: Vandy OT Chris Williams

Carolina Panthers officials are expected to be in Nashville tomorrow morning for a pro day workout by Vanderbilt offensive tackle Chris Williams, a possible choice with the team’s No.. 13 overall pick in the first round.

Team officials have been attending similar workouts around the country in recent weeks, including those for Florida defensive end Derrick Harvey, Boise State offensive tackle Ryan Clady and Boston College offensive tackle Gosder Cherilus.

Williams is rated one of the top four tackles in the draft and is projected to go in the first half of the first round.

Hey Tampa Terry,

Maybe the feathers from your old mascots' gay hat got caught in your eye and scrambled your brain but I am pretty sure in order to "loose to the Bucs as you [we] always have" you gays would have to have a winning record against us. Well do ya, do ya , Punk? We own you 9-6 in case you did not know which you probably didn't you sound like a bandwagon fan. By the way in case you did not know this either it doesn't matter who you sign cause we will just break them. Send my regards to the Simms kid and let me know when you get Cadillac out of the shop!

And you think the Bucs had a great offseason? Hmm...let's see...oh yea you brought in ANOTHER quarterback, that makes what...14 on the roster, great pickup...also you sign a safety? You already have 3 starters in Jackson, Phillips, and Allen...but you choose to waste money on something you're already good at. Make fun of the Panthers bringing in talent all you want, but at least we bring in guys who will fill positions we need instead of guys that sit on the bench. One more thing...the buccaneers have not proven themselves a "winning" team consistently either. They suck then the'yre decent, they suck then they're ok. We'll see what happens this year...while you see the Panthers take the top of the division again. Better hope your guys can stay healthy against ours, because Simms and Cadillac will remember those hits, that's a promise. Go Panthers.

It's not even worth talking about. I mean they've re-signed Kevin Carter and brought back Warrick Dunn. Those 2 guys have a combined age of about 89. Yeah, real solid signings there...

I heard Chris Williams only benched 225 - 21 times. Not like it really matters, he played in the toughest conference against the toughest DE's and OLB's so he is battle tested. He gets positioned very well, gets low with his hips, and is has a very solid character. He is a smart guy who can diagnose D's and could easily throw around a Gaines Adams or Kevin Carter.

Hey Tampa Terry - Dont forget who put Cadillac Williams, Luke Petigout, Chris Simms, etc. on the injured reserve. If there is one team the Panthers own - it is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Most people have 23 pairs of chromosomes. Chris Williams has 72... and they're all poisonous.

You people crack me up. Arguing with Tampa Terry and lowering yourself to his level. Personally, I can hardly wait for the Cats, Bucs game because if nothing else, It's always a great game. If we go as many people being loud and rooting for the team, as we do on this board, maybe the Cats can turn it around and give us some home wins.

Go Panthers!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You talk about kicking our butts like you always do, but you're apparently ignorant to the fact we've won 8 out of the last 10 against you.
