Beason sits again; a few minor roster changes

-- Linebacker Jon Beason missed a another practice with a minor ankle injury. Coach John Fox said he didn't think the injury was serious, but he didn't know if Beason would miss Saturday's exhibition opener against Indianapolis.

-- With their defensive line becoming gradually healthier, the Panthers cut tackle Michael Marquardt on Tuesday. Marquardt had signed last week when several linemen went down with injuries. But with players like Maake Kemoeatu and Damione Lewis back, Marquardt was let go.

-- With two tight ends sitting out Tuesday's practice -- Gary Barnidge (glute) and Dante Rosario (hamstring) -- the team signed Chad Upshaw.  -- David Scott

Beason will be fine, no worries that guy is tough and is most def a beast. I would actually rather see him out against sats game to keep him healthy and only play the starters for both defence and offense a drive and then save them?
