Monday Night Football
A few notes from the Panthers' Monday night training camp practice in Spartanburg:
-- It was a scary sight when second-year receiver Dwayne Jarrett was on the ground with an injured right leg, and then was carted to the locker room along with team orthopedist Dr. Pat Connor. But it turns out the injury wasn't serious, according to team officials. Initial reports are that his leg was bruised.
-- Panthers players and fans alike got lots of laughs when defensive tackle Maake Kemoeatu tried to field a high kick from the punting machine. The 6-foot-5, 345-pound Kemoeatu circled, zigged and zagged, but didn't come close to making the catch.
-- DeAngelo Williams broke into the secondary on a running play and kept going all the way to the end zone despite the fact that the play was over. Cornerback Richard Marshall stayed in hot pursuit of Williams, but couldn't catch him.
-- Only two practices left in camp -- 3:10 p.m. Tuesday and 9:45 a.m. Wednesday.

Lol at Maake
Lol at Williams kept on running. I find it funny when people continue running. Then Marshall chased him. Shows never to give up even in practice

That's too bad about Fonoti, I had really high hopes that he was going to be a steal for the Panthers. Maybe he'll turn it on soon, but the OL looked pretty good Saturday night.

Uh oh, another WR hurt. Who is Jake going to throw his 2 passes to? Heck, if the O-line can continue to open holes, Jake won't need to throw the ball at all. I can see it now, the Panthers run for over 400 yards and win 17-10.
Seriously, who will be on the field in the 3 WR sets? Or even 2 WR sets for that matter. Moose, Carter, Taylor? Ouch, thank goodness this is still preseason.
Anyway, GO CATS! and JAKE!
