Rain forces Panthers inside
Coach John Fox called off practice today because of heavy rain moving through Charlotte. Instead, the Panthers are inside Bank of America Stadium, going through a walk-through in the stadium's concourse.
The Panthers have practiced outside in worse weather before -- but that was when there was a meaningful game to prepare for. Carolina plays its final exhibition of the preseason Thursday at Pittsburgh, a game in which starters aren't expected to play more than two series. So missing a day of preparation -- and making sure nobody gets hurt in the slop -- is probably not the end of the world. -- David Scott

Thanks for the input David. I also see no reason to practice in the rain at this point of the preseason. Foxy probably isn't game planning anything this week, so going inside is probably for the best. We already have too many nagging injuries, no reason to push our luck.
Keep up the good work guys, any and all tidbits of information are appreciated. GO CATS and JAKE!

Panthers should ave practiced today in the rain. looks like the remnants of Tropical storm Fay will be in Pittsburgh by gameday making that game nice and sloppy, just like it was in Philly.

I'll ignore the fact that 'ave' is not a word and tell you that the rain should mostly be gone by kickoff. Thank you for your input, though.
