Why is McCown closing out the game? And why did they get a bad snap penalty on a kneel down??

Did anyone else notice Jake limping? He was noticeably limping during the 3rd and 4th quarter. I am worried. This would be horrible for the Panthers!

Why do we continue calling draws and screens on 3rd and long?

How many times have they actually worked over the past 5 years?

Is Jake hurt?

Posted by: JayJ6 | Sep 28, 2008 5:00:02 PM

No way, don't lie to him man. We just always boo Muhammad and Hoover every time they touch the ball. We definitely aren't saying "Mooooose" or "Hoooooov." ;)

Ok the win today was great but I have one question.. Anyone else notice how Pitts & Boselli talked up the Failkins the whole time ?? Even up until the end of the game ?? I do not understand why the Panthers get no positive remarks while the losing team gets all the hype... Anyone ???And what was all the "Ryan" talk ?? How about some Delmomme talk !?!?!?

How long are we going to have suffer through Crossman's tenure as Special Teams coach? Last year, our special teams play was atrocious, and this year it only seem better because of Jones, Stewart and our kick-off specialist. Coverage is still awful, though, and mistakes seem to be the rule rather than the exception.

Why is it that most of our punts are close to being blocked compared to the teams we play, whose punters seem to have all day? I'm so tired of seeing our special teams struggle to be average. I don't think we've EVER had strong special teams.

And does it make anyone else feel a little worried that our new backup QB can't even take knees correctly? If he can't even do that how is he gonna run our offense?

Jake Delhome, 20 for 29, just shy of 300 yards, 0 int's, 2 touch downs. this is big league stuff guys and I've got a little love note for all you jake haters. get you some of that. HOT ALL MIGHTY. Jakes a big league pitcher and everybody can just get used to it.

you're dead on zach. since scottie obrien retired it's been the weakest part of our team.

Guys, this team has potential to be special. If we keep clawing them out like this, we're a playoff team.

I am trying to figure out why the Panthers are attempting to set the NFL record for most penalties in one season (158 by Chiefs in 98).

After watching them hit double digits again for the third week, this is the only logical explanation.

David or Charles, can you please be sure to press the coaching staff on this the next chance you get? I am curious to know the answer.

Oh yeah, also tell them I did not appreciate having to bake in that relentless sun another 10 seconds while they learned how to snap during victory formation.
