1st Quarter Summary
Score: Panthers 7, Chiefs 0
The Panthers dominated the first quarter, moving the ball almost at will and holding the Chiefs to no yards of total offense while gaining 132.
Running back DeAngelo Williams scored the lone touchdown of the period on a 10-yard run. The middle of the offensive line opened a huge hole and Williams appeared to run untouched into the end zone.
The Panthers had eight first downs to none for Kansas City.
Williams had seven carries for 54 yards.

It's great to see a good officiating team (Superbowl caliber). Maybe they are trying to make it up to the Panthers?? Let's see if the Chiefs get fined for a late hit from the back on Jake this week...

How about the big play sack by Tyler Brayton to get things started for the defense!
