Panthers-KC Game 1st report: Hackett injured
Wide receiver D.J. Hackett suffered a knee injury on the opening kickoff and may not be able to return to the game.
Hackett apparently was injured making an illegal block that drew a 15-yard penalty.
If he can't play, that means the Panthers' third wide receiver would be little-used Mark Jones since Dwayne Jarrett is inactive.

...or Dante Rosario, since Jones is to wide receiving what Jason Kyle is to linebacking.

Haha...and there he goes, making me look all silly. Nice catch to convert on 3rd down.

Why is Jarret inactive?

Nice catch by Mark Jones. Though his return average has been low today, that will further make things interesting when it comes to Robinson's return.

Here we go...injury prone Hackett back in action....on a special teams play to say the least. Jarret, no more sitting out, maybe? Good pick up with Hackett! He and "milking it" Robinson can rehab together now lol. Great 1st half Panthers!

I guess Hackett can't hack it after all. They should have traded him to the Bengals while they still had the chance. Oh well.
