Monday mid-day injury report

Coach John Fox just held his weekly news conference and listed three injuries from Sunday's 27-3 loss at Tampa Bay -- WR Muhsin Muhammad (knee sprain), LB Adam Seward (hamstring) and linebacker Thomas Davis (ankle sprain).

Fox said all three players would be day-to-day starting Wednesday, which is his way of saying the injuries don't appear to be serious.

Fox also put RT Jeff Otah (ankle) and C Ryan Kalil (ankle) in the day-to-day category. They didn't play against the Bucs, and Kalil didn't make the trip to Tampa.

Hey Charles! I had a good laugh at your article this morning. The Panthers were imposters indeed! Good work as always.

Well If we lose to the SAINTS! Fox your JOB!!! will be DAY TO DAY!!

Show me a Conservative Team in the NFL today and I will show you a AVG TEAM!! it doesn't matter who's on the field...Things have changed..and you won't see another Ravens 2000 team or panthers 2003 team advance in the post season you just wont'...so get with the times! or get out! I am not saying we have to chuck it down the field 10 times a game.....but....the play calling has been HORRIFIC!!

Cheven, take your pills.

Cheven,

It is what it is. Until Mr. Richardson fires me, I'll continue to collect my paycheck. I love this game!

Good call, Cheven...since that '03 SB run, let's look at the SB champions:
'07 Giants-4th in rushing, 21st passing
'06 Colts-18th rushing, 2nd passing
'05 Steelers-5th rushing, 24th passing
'04 Patriots-7th rushing, 11th passing

So since Peyton Manning ain't walking through that door, it seems that running the ball consistently and effectively is the way to go.

Sign Vinny. He can put the ball on the money. Now we have more that 1 person for him to throw it to.

Delhomme is worse than before his surgery. Give him a year worth of Bojangle Chicken and let him go play with his horses.

We need a quarterback who can throw, scramble and not be Jake Fumbleloom and IntercepterLoom.

If our receivers didn't have to reach and jump 6 feet to get to his passes they wouldn't tip them.

Jake looked like he was on crack yesterday.

Kevin,

you are on crack to make stupid comments and think of idiotic name changes to delhomme's last name. im sure you used up a lot of brain cells to come up with those.

the problem sunday was not one person alone. everyone contributed..

personally, if i was fox i would start calling out the players names who make me look bad on sunday. maybe then they will learn to perform. fox can only do so much to prepare and then it is up to the players to execute. if they play lackluster then call them out on it. even better put their starting position on the line if they continue to just show up and collect their checks. all in all unless Fox starts to get his team worried about repercussions from not performing then you will never know who will show up on sunday.

OTAH and KALIL( 2 of our starting offensive linemen) My friends are starting to think that Otah was a waste of a first round pick, but i don't. I like what I've seen from him so far ,since training camp and the first couple of games. I know he wants to play with that ankle injury, just like he did at the University of Pittsburgh. This is the NFL; you're not able to play until the trainers, doctors, and coaches say you're at 100%- I hope Kalil will comeback soon; he was like the best center in college- he does a great job, despite being the smallest offensive lineman on the team(297)
