Time for pregame questions

David and Charles will answer your Panthers-Falcons pregame questions from 2:45 - 3:45 p.m. today from the climate-controlled comfort of the Georgia Dome (actually, it's supposed to be in the 50s today, pretty nice football weather). Post your questions as comments here. Thanks.

If Carolina wins this game does this mean they are a good team? Or if they lose does this mean that they really arent that good? 8-2 is good but like Fox says were only guranteed 8 wins. 8 wins wont get you into the playoffs.

Is there too much hype on Jake's last two game performances or is this a concern?

Any thoughts on what the Panthers can do to shut down opponents' running games at the line of scrimmage?

Hey David / Charles? Any chance Procton will be away from his computer so we don't have to read his play by play? thanks guys!

If Delhomme struggles, with will we see the backup QB?

Should the Panthers present a balanced running game with both Williams and Stewart? or should Williams be used a carry the bulk of our running attack?

Can the Panthers stop Roddy White and Micheal Turner?

I believe this is going to be a big Defense/Sp. Teams game. Who do you guys think have the better advantage with this prediction?

If Atlanta shuts Deangelo and JStew down, will that put too much pressure on Jake and possibly cause him to play like he did against the Raiders?

How much have the Falcons really improved since the last time we played them? Defensively, we kept them from reaching the endzone at BoA. But our defense took some lumps the last couple of games against Oakland and Detroit as far as the running game goes. How much can we expect them to contain Turner in the Georgia Dome?

Who gets the early nod as starting center for the Panthers today? And, who's best suited scheme-wise going up against the Falcons defense...Kalil or Hangartner?

Also, which DJ would you start at WR today? Hackett or Jarrett?

Do the Falcons intend on stopping our running game or is Steve Smith too much of a threat that they have to respect the passing game even with Jake's last few performances?

How many interceptions, fumbles, over the head passes, in the ground passes, behind the receiver passes, in front of the tight ends will Jake commit before Fox pulls him?

Hopefully Jarrett will be active instead of Hackett.

What is the over/under on the times Jake will throw his arms in the air and blame everyone and everything else instead of himself?

How many sacks do you think Peppers will get today?

Do you believe the Falcons secondary is in better or worse shape than what we played against early this season?

Is Kalil or Hangartner starting?

Will a victory today silence the national media?

What is going on with my favorite quarterback Jake?

Everyone seems to expect the Falcons to be able to move effectively against our defense. Why? By all accounts, Ryan has gotten better, but is he better than Drew Brees?

Our run defense has not exactly been stellar, but it has been effective. Our pass defense, on the other hand has been outstanding, 5th in the league after facing the top 2 passing teams.

But Ryan is going to carve us up? And Turner is going to have a great game against a team that stuffed him?

Who is going to be starting at the Falcons left tackle? I'm really curious about this because there is a good possibility that they're on their 3rd string left tackle. If that's the case, pair Julius Peppers over there and you have a mismatch for the entire game.

How hurt is Roddy White and is he playing? Thanks!

How stubborn is John Fox going to be if the run game does not become effective early? In other words, is he going to trust that Jake has put the last two weeks behind him whereas he has not been stellar in passing. Asking that, will Jake and the receiver corps show up today?
