Kemo, Lewis miss practice

Starting defensive tackles Maake Kemoeatu (ankle) and Damione Lewis (shoulder) missed practice Wednesday. Kemoeatu, who didn't play last Sunday against the Giants, hurt the ankle against Denver two week ago. Lewis hurt his shoulder against the Giants and left the game in the second half.

Receiver Muhsin Muhammad (foot) also missed praactice, as did tight end Jeff King (ankle) and receiver Kenneth Moore (hamstring).

Coach John Fox wouldn't say how serious any of the injuries are.

Did Fox even go as far as to characterize what exactly Lewis' shoulder injury even IS? He's got no reason or obligation to release that information, but it would help to get a gauge on whether he's going to play if we knew what the problem was.

You'll find out on gameday. If it's your fantasy team your worried about, just don't choose that DL. It's not the end of the world.

Umm, no. I can promise you Damione Lewis is not on any IDP rosters. I'm just interested in his health and whether this will be a problem beyond this week and moving into the playoffs.

Well if his health was compromised for the playoffs, like in the case of Keydrick Vincent, I'm sure the team would have placed him on IR or made the call that he's out for some time. I have a feeling he's more in the same situation as Kemo - sitting at 60-70% and would do with a couple good weeks of rest for the first playoff game. I think even with some backup DT's in, we can handle Pierre Thomas.
