Panthers' field ranks high again

The playing surface at Bank of America Stadium ranked fourth among grass fields in a survey of players across the league conducted by the NFL Players Association.

The Panthers' field traditionally has been one of the highest rated in the league in the surveys, which are taken every two years.

The field was second in 1998, 2000 and 2006, third in 2004 and fourth in 2002.

Of 61 Panthers players who participated in the poll, 56 (91.8 percent) rated their home field either excellent or good.

Funny, Steve...Matty didn't make an accurate downfield throw any time he was on the field for us in '07. Sounds like you better go back and watch some film.

Procton finally shows his face.....Well I'm glad you're still defending your man crush Joke Gohomme. Whats your defense now???? Its sure as heck not his playoff QB rating or his clutch play in the playoffs is it????? It seems you should be the one to go back and watch some film Procton cause Moore played pretty well in the three games he started in 07.

Start 1 - 19-27 for 208 No TURNOVERS
Start 2 - 15-28 for 182 1 TD & 1 TURNOVER
Start 3 - 15-24 for 174 2 TD & 1 TURNOVER

And Moore would have played better than Joke Gohomme against Arizona. At least Moore wouldn't have gave the game and the chance for a Super Bowl away like your boy Joke Gohomme. The only good thing to come out of this playoff meltdown is Joke will not get his contract extended and we only have to suffer one more year of his horrible play. Fox and the Panthers system asks the QB to manage the game and not to loose it. Out of the QBs that started 16 games Gohomme had the least pass attempts, but was seventh in the NFL in INTs with 12. Add in the 5 fumbles, three of which were lost and thats 15 turnovers in 16 games. Count the playoff game and thats 17 INTS and 6 fumbles, four lost for a wopping 21 TURNOVERS in 17 games. For a team that asks its QB to manage the game and not loose it Joke just needs to Gohomme.
