Panthers TV ratings rise sharply
The Panthers are grabbing Charlotte's attention.
The team's TV viewership has risen sharply in the city, up 19 percent over past year according to NFL.com.
And the 16 highest-rated shows in Charlotte since Sept. 4 are Carolina's 16 regular-season games (eat your heart out, "Dancing With the Stars").
Carolina's viewership averaged a 26.2 rating and a 44 share for the season, up from 22.1/40 in 2007. That was the third-largest increase in the league. Atlanta increased 47 percent and the Jets were up 33 percent.
Of course, expect tomorrow's Divisional Playoff game with Arizona to become Charlotte's new No. 1. STAN OLSON

band wagon..LOL...well i am proud to say that i have followed this team (best i can being in retail) from day one. From 1-15 to heartbreaking superbowl loss to today. Isn't it great to have the carolina's in the nfl spotlight riding on the back of our beloved panthers. Lets all hope our boys can run all the way to tampa and back bringing with them the the Lombardi prize.

The piece on Sam Mills was exceptional! I couldn't see the author (seems like Sorenson's work) but whoever wrote it did a brilliant job.
