Pre-game notes: Smith, Stewart, Davis in uniform
Steve Smith, Thomas Davis and Jonathan Stewart are all in uniform for the Panthers for tonight's game, but it's not clear whether they're playing. The coaches may just want them to be able to go through warmups, etc. Wouldn't be surprising if they all play next week against Baltimore, however.
Smith has been sidelined with a bruised shoulder, while Stewart (sore Achilles) and Davis (knee) also have missed practices.
-- Cool moment on the field duringg pre-game warmps: Current Dolphins and former Panthers offensive coordinator Dan Henning came over to say hello to DeAngelo Williams. Henning and the Dolphins have made the "Wildcat" formation famous, but it actually started in 2007 when Henning had Williams taking snaps from center for the Panthers at Atlanta.

I kept pointing out that fact last season when every announcer was acting like the Dolphins had re0invented the wheel.

I just hope Jake displays more touch on his passes this evening.
I know he came back from Tommy John surgery last season and how the arm WOULD be stronger and it was, often leading to Jake overthrowing his Wr's more than usual or throwing 5 Int's in one game.
However I expected that with year 2 coming back from Tommy John that he would have regained some of his touch and become comfortable with his arm being stronger.
This past Monday night I didnt see that,it appears he still hasnt regained his touch orwere he's going to place the ball.I say forget whatever footwork this new QB coach is having Jake do and work more on his touch, that is what will do wonders for Jake/The Team/Wr's and the offense.
Heres hoping that gets displayed some here this evening.
