Koenen practicing FGs in #Falcons' pregame; Elam had hamstring injury last week

A few pre-game notes as we await kickoff at the Georgia Dome:

-- It'll be interesting to see who kicks extra points and field goals for the Falcons. Normally, it's Jason Elam. But he was on the injury report last week with a sore hamstring. In warmups today, kickoff specialist and punter Michael Koenen was practicing field goals. Perhaps it's just for insurance. Elem is active for the game.

-- Panthers' uniforms today: White jerseys and white pants.

-- Falcons wearing throwback uniforms, with the red helmets of old.

-- Weather update: It's been raining most of the morning here in Atlanta, making it a rare occasion to be glad the Falcons play in the Georgia Dome instead of an open-air stadium.
