why doesnt anyone ever get mad at walls for wanting to leave the panthers but then turn around and get mad at peppers?

Walls was in New Orleans his first few years and was not much of a pass-catcher there. It was not until he joined the Pantehers (and benefited from the accurate passing of Steve Beurlein) that he began to excel. Therefore, the total games played comparison is a little skewed. Gates has obviously been expected to be a pass-catcher from day one in the Charger's offense.
