Panthers sign Wesley replacement
The Panthers picked up safety/special teamer Keith Lewis today to fill in for the suspended Dante Wesley on Sunday against Buffalo.
Lewis was cut in the preseason by the Arizona Cardinals and played five seasons with the San Francisco 49ers.
Wesley was suspended by the NFL for one game without pay for hitting Tampa Bay's Clifton Smith before he fielded a punt last Sunday. -- David Scott

Fire Fox and hire Cowhard. Cowhard's boys never played dirty (not that Fox had Wesley go make that bone-headed play that helped the opposing team get back in the game... they answered on special teams later on, which helped get Jake nervous, who threw an INT for a TD soon after that). But hey, I read the Observor and so I know we should get Cowhard. Right HACKS!?

Nah. We should just stay with Fox for this season.
Either that or stick with a certain coach on ESPN that loves us to death.

You sign someone for someone being suspended for 1 game? Wow! Foxy & Hurney must be getting desperate? Just like going for it on 4th & 1(for a freaking change)!I guess it's a one game min. unless their going cut Wesley? No one else on the team good enough to replace Wesley for one game. But our ST do suck! I am so sick of this Panther crap. Getting to the point I wanna fire the owner(No!I just didn't say that!!)It's that bad!

Who is Cowhard?

hmmmm I wouldn't mind seeing Gruden on the sidelines. The guy is a bit psychotic, and irrational, but most of his teams played with a ton of heart and passion......thats something Fox can't bring to the table with his "just enough to get by" attitude. Fox is the only coach I know who tries to milk the clock in the 3rd quarter with a 7 point lead.
