Rosario, Anderson listed as questionable to play vs. Bucs

The Panthers have a relatively light injury report heading into Sunday's game at Tampa.

Following Friday morning's practice, coach John Fox announced that tight end Dante Rosario (ankle) and linebacker James Anderson (concussion) were questionable for the game. However, Anderson particupated fully in Friday's practice, while Rosario was limited.

Six players were listed as probable after full participation Friday: wide receiver Steve Smith (knee), linebackers Jon Beason (knee) and Na'il Diggs (rib), defensive tackle Nick Hayden (toe), cornerback Captain Munnerlyn (shoulder) and running back Jonathan Stewart (Achilles).

Time for Barnidge to catch that first career touchdown.

Barnidge was talked about as the steal of the century by many experts. He looked pretty good in preseason as a receiver, but he is a horrible blocker. He looks like Poopers out there, watching the play happen instead of kicking it in gear and finding at least a couple of people to smack in the mouth. The rushing attack may suffer a little more than it already has been Sunday because of it. Let's hope not.

Does anyone else think that Hoover is the worst pass catching fullback in the league?

Posted by: x | Oct 16, 2009 2:59:07 PM

Hoover may not catch well but his blocking and toughness makes up for it.

As for Peppers, If the big cat is willing to pay that price then we should shut up, sit back and enjoy the ride.

i agree with that hoover statement ,he's gott be able to catch a pass or two. thats also in a fullbacks job description and he'a a heck of a player just gotta catch the ball sometimes he's a bailout reciever also williams and stewart.
