Diggs doesn't practice for LB-thin Panthers

LB Na'il Diggs, who hurt his ribs in last week's loss to the Dolphins, didn't practice today. The Panthers are already thin at that position, with Thomas Davis and Landon Johnson out for the season with knee injuries.

DE Charles Johnson (pectoral) and RB Jonathan Stewart (Achilles) also didn't practice. DT Damione Lewis (shoulder) had limited participation.

FB Brad Hoover and S Charles Godfrey, who have both been out with injuries, returned to practice. DE Julius Peppers, who's been bothered by an injured hand, also practiced. -- David Scott

This really stinks, but I'm a little curious to see more of Dan Connor. You have to have some skill to be the all-time leader in tackles at Penn State, maybe he can step up and show them off a little this week.

Dan Connor should be a great LB for us. I think he should be given more playing time and prove to us that he can play. If he doesn't shine now he never will!

I know you guys hate John Fox no matter what, but don't you think theres a reason he's(connor) not even 4th on the OLB depth chart?

Charlottean, after the game you'd better be ready to hear about how much you suck from all of these all pro athletes and coaching geniuses that comment on these stories. If you can win Fox's loyalty you could really tick 'em off!
