On behalf of RealPantherFans.com Big congrats to Peppers! Hell of a game!

http://www.realpantherfans.com/forum

This is not a fan site...but a movement! While it still needs work so do we, the fans. Not sure if you have noticed but there are two kinds of fans at Panther games, fans and "REAL FANS".

If to you Carolina football is a passion and you leave the games hoarse and feeling like you just played the game yourself, then you have come to the right place.

While the song may have not been the most inspiring, the first line was the point... " Stand and cheer for the Panthers. Stand and cheer for the team!"

We are off to a rough start but silence is not the answer. Be it Boos to show that we care or a growl after a first down, in the stands, at the bar, or on your couch show that you are a "REAL FAN" and encourage others to do the same! Stand up and have a voice!

Don't be a "fair-weather", be "REAL!"

Well deserved

i hate how martin had 2 picks handed to him that skew perception to think he's THAT great but i mean....godfrey has been terrible. martin is a 2nd round pick. there shouldn't be any hesitation to atleast give him 2 or 3 games to prove himself. worst case scenario is that godfrey is more motivated knowing he just lost his job and needs to win it back by making big plays in spot duty.

Question? Is Jonathan Stewart's achilles tendon damaged or does he not like to practice? Every week he runs like gang-busters during the game and then he nurses his achilles during practice. Just asking.

Kick that Godfrey to the curb...Sherrod is the man!

Posted by: Pat G | Nov 4, 2009 3:45:50 PM

Keep it up Pepps so we can get a 1st and 3rd for you

Posted by: Elrod | Nov 4, 2009 3:59:13 PM

We are not trading Pep, even though we need a 1st (quarterback) and a third (returner/wide receiver). Sherrod is pretty good. Not only was he in the right place, but he actually made the interception. He has more than any of our secondary players in one game. He is aggressive and tackles well. Godfrey is not a great tackler, but he may be a pretty good corner (not safety). Good Job Pep! D-Will did not get any love this week.

Martin was in the right spot at the right time, which means he is doing his job well. They were not handed to him. He is a smart player and can read well. You need to look back at that first interception he got. He ran a long way to intercept the ball and got it just before he got out of bounds. Please get your facts straight. This kid runs a 4.3 40 yard dash the kid has skills

Thanks NFL. Now Julius can claim he is the best DE in the NFL and does not have ot play a down the rest of the season. Here's my prediction for next week... the "worlds best DE" has 1 tackle and gets run on for over 100 yds.

It's not like Jake could win defensive player of the week every week. He should just be happy with what he has. He's earned them.

Martin does deserve a start.

Folks, please try to keep your drawers on. This is the same guy who said he didn't want to be here, so he is playing for a contract somewhere else. Have you forgiven him so quickly? No matter how well he plays this season, he can't elevate an overall bad team with poor leadership to a good team. His leaving after the season will be good riddance and will free up money to be wasted on lousy draft choices and/or trades.

That dude that posts as anonymous and says JP will coast for the season is a chump. You obviously don't see the enthusiasm on his face after the defense does well. He likes things changing a bit on defense and he is feeling more comfortable in the new system. I think he is having a great year again this year. I saw a lot that I liked last week. GO PANTHERS!!!

Yay!!! Go Peppers!!!

Posted by: Joe Small | Nov 4, 2009 6:11:39 PM

i agree with the guy who said you are really a panther fan or you are not. I have been to the stadium and when the panthers are losing they leave, does anybody remember when Jake could win in 3 seconds left, I do , it was against Vick and the Falcons and it was beautiful not saying that is the same jake but what if it happens and you aren't watching

Let's not forget the (negative) impact introducing so many new coaches can have on a system and a team. Could explain a lot of things including why J-Pep wanted out, why the defense was out of sync, and why Jake had such a terrible start. Yeah, I know. Jake spiraled last year with Arizona, but as a Super Bowl QB he's far from a chump. So, maybe the "new" coaches are pulling back a little on the guys and just letting them play.

Posted by: Reality | Nov 4, 2009 6:24:54 PM

Pat G - your posts drips of hatoration...you act as if a 1st and 3rd round draft pick will help this team...not as long as John Fox is coach and Delhomme is QB but hey you can dream...Let me know how that works out for you...

All the Carolina Panthers can do is PAY THE MAN...he is getting it done and will continue to do so no matter where he plays..

GO JPeppers!!! U R Tha MAN!!

All these Pepper haters eating crow and still are rude talking with their mouths full.

Get over it...he has kicked some major a@@ in the last month, and it amazes me that people are so quick to spew ignorance, but are cowards when it comes to giving him the accolades he deserves these last few games....

Hate on I say....you might just get a required taste for that Crow hes having you eat
