Panthers will see if they have a "mighty mite" lead blocker

NEW ORLEANS -- With the Panthers depleted by injuries to their fullbacks, they'll take a look today at 5-8, 213-pound halfback Tyrell Sutton in the fullback position.

Sutton is smaller than the players he's blocking for -- DeAngelo Williams (5-9, 217) and Jonathan Stewart (5-10, 235).

Sutton is also notably smaller than the Panthers' regular fullbacks, Brad Hoover (6-0, 245) and Tony Fiammetta (6-0, 242).

Hoover is out with a high ankle sprain, while Fiammetta has a concussion.

So can Carolina succeed with a lead blocker who's four inches shorter and about 30 pounds lighter than usual?

We'll see!

I smell counters and trick plays, especilly if those DT's get pushed off of the line.
