Panthers work out a pair of fullbacks
With both their fullbacks, Brad Hoover (ankle) and Tony Fiammetta (concussion), missing practice Wednesday and looking doubtful to play in Sunday's game at New Orleans, the Panthers have at least explored available options this week.
The Panthers worked out Jehuu Caulcrick, who has spent some time with the New York Jets, and Jerome Johnson, who went through the preseason with the St. Louis Rams.
So far, it doesn't appear the team is moving to sign either of them.

Caulcrick is a big body, but he doesn't really have an FB skillset. He's a runner, through and through.

Might have to use Jeff King as a temporary FB.
