when in the world is the onwer jerry going to wake up. it is time to move fox, jake out
and get a real coach like bill cowers before
he goes somewhere else.jake, fox took panther
to superbowl then it,s been down hill since
they keep trading our #1 picks away.
then they keep bringing back hurt players
every year.this team gets, has more hurt players than i,ve ever seen. so fox is reaping what he has sowed.
i,m to the point like most panthers fans to
stop going to the games,or even looking at it on tv.
i think the news reporters needs to go to jerry and get some real answers.

Sorry Fox. We're out of the playoffs.

I still held hope until the last game. Now I'm sure. We're probably not going to make the playoffs this year, barring an change in playcalling style and an epic comeback the likes of which we've never seen by our Cardiac Cats.

First off though, I would like for the fans to know that John Fox is not the problem on playcalling. He is a defensive coach, and the Panthers are one of the best teams in the league in defending the pass because of him and Ron Meeks. ((4th in the league))

The problem here is that offensive coordinator Jeff Davidson will not stick to the run. That's the downfall of this team, pure and unadulterated. Jake Delhomme is having a rough time sure, he's thrown interceptions and lost games for us. But you guys tell me one time this year that the Panthers have FORCED another team to stop the run. One time! Tell me one time that the Panthers kept running the ball down the throat of another team till it didn't work anymore.

You can't, and if think you can then I'll dig up the play by play and prove to you that you're lying. When the Panthers offense can just stay on the field, the defense can stay fresh and play exceptional. This can only be credited to the coaching of John Fox and new defensive coordinator Ron Meeks.

Back to my playoff point, the Panthers are 4-6 right now, and have a 90.6% chance of making the playoffs if they go unbeaten the rest of the year. Lose one game, and your playoff chances drop to 40.6%. Lose another game, and it drops to 4.6%. And these statistics are with games like the Vikings, Patriots, and New England coming up.

Not to say that it's impossible of course for our Cardiac Cats. Just highly unlikely against a team that lost against the Miami Dolphins, just an average team in the league. We have to get back to playing Foxball. Or to put it more simply, Jeff Davidson has to ALLOW our players to play Foxball.

Unfortuanately, Fox does have to go (at this point). Thanks to some (like Cowhard's agents) who have been busy running this propoganda machine to undermine Fox this past couple of seasons, and thanks to some moronic fans (the likes of which that would probably deny there was a holocaust, or who think if someone says that "rap music enoucarges people to be thugs" then they are racist) this coaching staff has lost control of its team, and despite their best efforts, there may be no turning that around. Congradulations hacks. I hope you feel good about changing some lives for the worse--- not that Fox will be bad off since there will be job offers for him, but that this affects more than just the head coach. Hope that extra cell phone plan you can now afford becuase you sold out is worth it to you hacks! Dispicable.

This video goes to show how much Steve Smith puts into every game, and just how smart he is as a player. Just look how he runs downfield, out of bounds where the opponents can't stop him, and stays with the play until the very end EVERY SINGLE TIME. I can not get enough of watching this video...

I agree Fox needs to go but some of you people need to learn things like ......his name is Cowher. Bill COWHER. He won one Super Bowl in 15 seasons. He does show an energy that Fox doesn't but he isn't the right guy. The Panthers need to hire someone who has an offensive mindset and then get a young energetic defensive coordinator.

NO WAY. Keep Ron Meeks. PLEASE!

I would LOVE to see Mike Shanahan as coach. If not, please keep Fox.

If personnel is what you guys are so pissed about, be mad at Hurney, not Fox. But why be mad at Hurney when he has had what now, 8 straight succesful first round picks? I'm just saying.

Delhomme hasn't been that good, but I think its the loss of the QB coach in addition to horrible playcalling by Davidson.

I wish we'd get rid of Davidson!! He's horrible!
