Third Quarter Update: Panthers 28, Cardinals 14
The Cardinals cut the Panthers lead to 14 points with a 67-yard touchdown drive midway through the third period. The score came on a 1-yard pass from Kurt Warner to tight end Ben Patrick.
It was a toughly-played period for both teams.
Carolina fullback Brad Hoover was taken to the locker room late in the quarter with an injury to his right ankle. It was announced that he won't return.

I guess Fox doesn't want to win the game. Fox wanting to sit on the ball and having no killer instinct can lose this game for us.

hard to have a killer instinct when you don't have a QB
Just hand the ball off and play some D
We will hold on and win this thing
we're pretty decent when we don't turn it over
