Beason doesn't make Pro Bowl
Though he had another outstanding season, Panthers middle linebacker Jon Beason didn't make the Pro Bowl. The MLBs chosen were San Francisco's Patrick Willis and New Orleans' Jonathan Vilma.
Carolina's only selectees were defensive end Julius Peppers and running back DeAngelo Williams.

Jonathan Vilma are you kidding me? Only reason Jon Beason didn't get in is because everyone kisses the sains A$$. They will be one and done in the playoffs. Go Beason, Go panthers!

Did Jake Glacomma 40 million dollar man make the pro bowl? No he can't even make the soup bowl. Buck said today on WFAN that if Richardson made a ring of honor and put Jake in it that is would be called the Ring Around The Collar.....ha ha ha ha ...go ahead Jerry pay your Son/In/Law I will not give you anymore of my money.

Beason is number 2 in tackles in the entire NFL! Jonathon Vilma is 16th and made it over Beason, along side Patrick Willis. Beason has 3 sacks, Vilma has 2. They each have 3 INT’s. Beason has 1 FF, Vilma has 0. Beason has 2 fumble recoveries, Vilama has 0. WTF is wrong with this picture??

This just shows how big a popularity contest this is...

I think Beason & Stewart too should have made it. Stewart should have made it because he did what no other running back has done for 3 years, 100 yards against the Vikings, & 200+ against the giants, the most in how long? like 30 years?

You will get your due someday. You're doing it right. I would much rather have my son idolize you, Dan Morgan, Brad Hoover and Chris Harris than some self serving prima donna. I bet you've never felt guilty about the effort you gave after a game.

This is a crime- Pep goes and Beason doesn't? What a shame.

For God's sake =would these idiots quit calling Jake- Richardson's son- in- law?!?!? HE IS NOT MARRIED TO RICHARDSON'S DAUGHTER- GOOGLE HIM AND FIND HIS HIGH SCHOOL SWEETHEART AND YES, I AM YELLING BECAUSE I AM SO SICK OF THIS RUMOUR!!!! MORONS!!!!
Posted by: Wiggles | Dec 29, 2009 8:13:07 PM
Maybe the stip club incident hurt Beason but it should not have. Pep is the prima donna who takes many plays off and does not show up. Beason shows up everytime.

FOR THE LAST TIME - JAKE IS NOT JERRY RICHARDSON'S SON-IN-LAW. GET A LIFE AND KNOW YOUR FACTS BEFORE YOU MAKE A MORON OF YOURSELF. AND YES I AM YELLING BECAUSE I AM SICK OF THIS LIE!!!!

How much longer can this Hurricane sympathy keep up! Note to Saints: Do your one and done and go back to wearing the brown bags! We will be done with our brown bags after the offseason so no need to lift wallets on bourbon street we got you covered there!
Beason is a hunter he makes Vilma look like a girlscout!

News Flash -- The Pro Bowl is irrelevant and I would rather our players not go.

These people know Jake is not married to JR's daughter, they are just pissed that he received an unwarranted contract extension. I don't care what Jake has done 4-6 yrs ago. He did not play well last year after the surgery and had no business getting the contract extension...bad move on Fox, Hurney, and JR.
Stop taking things so seriously, dude.

Jon beason is an unbelieveable man and was snubbed of a spot in the nfl's all-star game. He beats vilma in many stats but vilma gets in? Jon beason is a force boy to be messed with. He is my son's role model and is a class guy. Same thing happened with d-will last year.

Excellent post Pantherheel
The FACTS show Beason should be in the Pro Bowl. Yes I believe he deserves it much more than Peppers. Peppers is a very good player but not 18 mil worth. Panthers need to sign him to a contract that is reasonable or trade him and use the draft picks and money to make the TEAM better.

News Flash to Wiggles!!!
Beason also played at the U!

Beason got screwed! For some reason Beason will ALWAYS be in the shadow of Willis, even though there isn't a dime's worth of difference in their play. Selecting Vilma was just plain retarded. Beason got screwed!

I'm a huge Beason fan, but I think that London Fletcher is the one who got robbed here.
