Williams inactive for Panthers
Leading rusher DeAngelo Williams, sidelined by a sprained ankle, won't play for the Panthers today against Tampa Bay. He's on the inactive list along with cornerback Captain Munnerlyn (concussion), fullback Tony Fiammetta, guard Duke Robinson, wide receiver Dwayne Jarrett (ankle), defensive tackle Derek Landri, defensive end Charles Johnson (pectoral), and quarterback Jake Delhomme (broken finger).
Williams' absence means Jonathan Stewart will start at running back and will share carries with Tyrell Sutton and possibly Mike Goodson. Also be on the lookout for Goodson playing some at wide receiver with Jarrett inactive.
