Stewart back at practice, but Williams still out and doubtful to play vs. Saints
Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart was back at practice, fully participating, today after missing the previous two days resting his sore Achilles.
However, running backs DeAngelo Williams and Tyrell Sutton, both nursing ankle injuries, did not participate.
Stewart is listed as questionable to play against New Orleans on Sunday, but is likely to start. Williams and Sutton are listed as doubtful.
Four other players practiced fully and are listed as questionable -- cornerback Richard Marshall (ankle), wide receiver Muhsin Muhammad (ankle), tackle Geoff Schwartz (groin), and quarterback Matt Moore (rib).

Bobby, I'm sure we'd all like that but you can't blame either guy if they decide to go somewhere to be the undisputed running back.

Based on their interviews I don't think either guy would leave Carolina to be a feature back elsewhere, maybe for more money. If there is no salary cap and Carolina can afford both then I think it can happen. I believe both of these players recognize the physical advantages of not having to carry the entire load alone.

DeAngelo could not carry the ball 25 to 30 times a game for 16 games. They need Stewart to give him breaks.. If Stewart leaves, it would be someone else then (Sutton, Goodson)..

Everyone's going to a two back system. As long as we can pay them, I'm sure they are happy with the Panthers. The only lure may be to play for a super bowl contender.

Bummer...now our fair weathered fans cannot brag that we were the only team ever to have 2 rb's gain 1,100 yards in a season.A non-playoff season at that!!!!
