Peppers thanks Chicago ...
Julius Peppers thanked Chicago for the warm welcome ... with $8,750 in champagne for late-night patrons at one bar.

Julius who??? ENOUGH already with the ex-Panther updates!!! The guy is gone...I suggest you guys at the Observer acknowledge it and let it go already.

it would be nice to have some news on players that are actually on the team or going to be on the team. The paper would serve the public better by doing that.

There's too much bitterness and grumbling about Peppers around here. But...I agree, this is too much. Champagne??? This is related to anything NFL or Panthers how???
I hear Kemoatu had a steak for dinner last night. Ugh...

Well, if the Panthers would actually sign players instead of wholesale cutting, maybe there'd be something to write about, I guess.

Who cares about this loser! He's gone. STOP WRITING ABOUT HIM!!! Write about the Panthers, not the Bears!

Good Job Peppers. You have to take care of yourself. The Panthers are in rebuilding mode with a unproven QB and no defensive line. I'm glad he didn't sign with Philly, he'd give my Cowboys problems.

I agree with the Observer's obsession with one Julius Peppers. Can we please just move on to hopefully some incoming players for the "Panthers"? Lets here somemore Vick talk or maybe some Tebow talk or hell lets get Brandon Marshall talk.

Hometown folks, come on. You all want your cake and eat it too. You were left with the bag in your hand. Why give Jake that big contract last year only to see him throw up practically every game afterwards if you know what I mean. Meanwhile, Peppers is an All Pro following his having signed a big contract. You all do the math. Yall will no doubt miss Peppers, say what you want.

there is a great article about peppers in espn about how badly he dissed the panthers in his press conf, talking about how he was happy to be with a team with a winning attitude and tradition.by the way,i thought he wanted to be a l.b in a 34 defense.as it turns out it was all about money all along.what a lazy jerk.
