Fox expects Moore to start vs. Bucs

Panthers quarterback Matt Moore should be back under center Sunday against Tampa Bay -- a week after sustaining a mild concussion in the final minutes of a 31-18 loss to New York.

Moore practiced again Thursday, and Panthers coach John Fox said Moore would start against the Bucs, barring anything unforeseen. Moore had full participation in Thursday's practice after he was limited Wednesday.

Moore said he has passed all the tests required under the NFL's guidelines on concussions, and feels good.

Starting cornerback Chris Gamble was added to the injury report with an ankle injury, while starting defensive end Tyler Brayton continues to deal with an ankle injury.

No. 2 receiver Brandon LaFell (hamstring) returned to practice, while defensive tackle Louis Leonard (elbow), right tackle Jeff Otah (knee) and receiver Charly Martin (hamstring) were held out.

Lefell is back. That sucks. I was hoping he couldn't play on Sunday. He needs to be replaced, but by who? I surely don't know. I don't think that person is on our roster.

Davidson's play calling is no better in the booth than on the field. Do we really need this guy. Let him go back to the Browns and play with Jake.

Where is the update regarding the blackout? Thought the cutoff is/was Thursday at one.

Also you mention Moore was limited on Wednesday for the umpteenth time but don't mention if he participated fully at THURSDAYS practice. The one that happened most recently.

Go get Vincent Jackson

WFNZ 610 AM reported at 9:30 am that the panthers reported that it is a sell out. Maybe it will be in the paper tomorrow or Saturday.

I agree Sam get VJ or Javon Walker

Fuck Matt Moore.

@Sam

With what picks to spare? As much majority of this fanbase always complaining about the front office surrendering 1st or 2nd round picks. Now y'all want them to continue trading them. Evn though Jackson is a proven player.

He wants $30 million in guarantee money. The FO didn't even resign Beason, Kalil and many others.

They don't have a 2nd round pick in next years draft. In which they used it on A
Edwards to draft him in the 3rd round.

If Carolina continues this horrible play, they will likely have a top 5-10 pick in the 1st round. Not being negative btw.

DJ needs to be in the game ... he needs to be the number 2 receiver, period. He will catch the ball and take a hit.
The Panthers will have a great game Sunday, bank on it.

Reading these posts, the same ones 2, 3 & 4 times in a row, tells me the mentality of a lot of these fans.

@ Matt, did you actually read the article before you started ranting and posting three times?! And I quote, "Moore had full participation at Thursday's practice..." There was also a previous article already on the game being a sell-out. Come on dude!!

All I know is D. Jarrett is the best WR on the Pathers Team! He had 40 yrds last week and is only 1153 yrds & 11 TDs away from the probowl!!!
