Panthers-Bucs a game a sellout

The Carolina Panthers have sold the remaining tickets for Sunday's game against Tampa Bay, allowing the game to be shown on local television.

Team officials said a few scattered tickets remained as of Wednesday. But the game sold out before today's 1 p.m. deadline.

The Panthers have not been blacked out since Dec. 8, 2002, against Cincinnati, a streak of 76 sellouts.

Tickets remain for next week's game against Cincinnati, although games against the Chicago Bears, who signed longtime Panther defensive end Julius Peppers in the offseason, and reigning Super Bowl-champion New Orleans are sold out.

Everyone should refuse to spend any money inside of the stadium this year.

Jerry Richardson is a sellout!

@Telling Like It Is

Javon W and Travis J? Really? I would like to have Javon W from the 2005 season. But as of right now? Hell No

Travis J is probably the team QB of the future. Unless they draft a QB in next years draft.

Why do you think they traded Sage R? Who I thought is/was better than Travis J.

@AHicks

I agree, but please stop using caps lol. Its getting annoying for fans in general, posting majority of their comments in caps.

Darin Gantt said on WFNZ last year that Jeff Davidson was thought of very highly around the league. And that he would be a head coach.

Posted by: JAY | Sep 16, 2010 4:43:48 PM

@JAY

If thats true, the Darrin G needs to lay off the drugs. lmao.

Jeff D is a Oline coach at best, if he gets fired after this year. He won't be offered a offensive coorinator job, I may be wrong though. Just like last year, passing more than running.

It seems that if we get down more than a TD he goes into panic mode and forgets that we have 2 1100 yard rushers. I would like to have slapped him Sunday when TV showed him shaking his head and holding his head in the booth. He should have enough sense to come up with a better plan than throw 19 straight times.

we have never had an offensive mind coaching here and no, seiffert doesn't count, this is a passing league and we need to get with the times.

Idk if youre both just really stupid Travaris* jackson is a backup scrub qb fot the vikings**** , maybe you morons re thinking about vincent jackson but who knows, Idk even know where to start about how stupid both of you sound in your posts

@michael1

You must be the stupid 1 or just a true moron? Did you even read my post carefully as you said you did?

Clearly I was stating "Tarvaris Jackson" ( I misspelled his name, thanks for helping me out) is probably the Vikings QB of the future, unless they draft another QB. In which he will be a back up at best.

Especially when Favre officially retires. Not that he was the QB on the Panthers team or they should trade for him.

Mostly everybody basically knows Tarvaris Jackson is a back up QB btw. Thanks a have a good day.

people said that henning wouldn't have a job after the Panthers, either.

Not saying Davidson is great, but yeah.

@michael1

Are you the stupid one or just a true moron? Thanks for the advice of actually spelling "Tarvaris Jackson", not Travis J as I had made a mistake on. What i meant to say was, that "Jackson is probably the Vikings QB of the future". "Unless they draft another QB to groom, so Jackson will likely be in a short leash".

Especially when Favre officially reitres. Not that Jackson was the Panthers QB of the future or that they should trade for him. Majority of the Panthers fans knows Tarvaris J is a back up QB. Thanks and have a good day.

Man I wish we could get Vincent Jackson but I feel like the Panthers don't wanna give up ANOTHER first round pick but we don't have a 2nd so the bare minimum 2nd and third cant happen. Well said about the Oline needing to block, can't throw the book at Matt Moore yet off of that awful goalline play calling and blocking effort.
