BSP makes all the big plays in loss

Brian St. Pierre made the play of the year.
Then he made two of the kind most people expected.
The Carolina Panthers replacement quarterback threw an eye-popping 88-yard touchdown pass to David Gettis, but followed with back-to-back interceptions which Baltimore turned into touchdowns in a 37-13 demolition at Bank of America Stadium.
The play to Gettis -- the second-longest pass completion in franchise history -- cut the Baltimore lead to 20-13 in the fourth quarter, and had people interested.
But when Baltimore followed with Ed Reed's pick, which he lateraled to Dawan Landry for a score, the reality set in.
Ray Lewis' pick-six on the next snap brought it crashing home, ruining what would have been a good story for the guy coach John Fox said "gives us the best chance," to win.
The Ravens hadn't scored a defensive touchdown all year, then scored two in 11 seconds.
St. Pierre, who was promoted from the practice squad Tuesday and leapfrogged Tony Pike, finished the day 13-of-28 for 173 yards, to go along with his three scoring throws.

FOX get your heat out of your butt and play the rookie-- if he is to be the future, him or pike, we need to know you idiot....

Time for Edwards.

It's time for Jerry Richardson to sell the team to an owner who actually cares about how his team plays and not just about his bank account.

I hope the man who gave Jerry his heart is burning somewhere in hell!!

John Fox just wasted a valuable opportunity to build the future Panthers by giving the young QBs Pike and Edwards some game time. What did he get for it? Another embarrassing loss.

A few weeks back, one of the Observer writers made the point that Fox would rather start his grandfather (okay, that's an exaggeration) than teach a young player the game.

What Fox is doing isn't coaching; it is a disgraceful demonstration of pathological laziness, and it will set this team back for years.

And stupid me, I would have started Pike. I thought the experience would have done him good. Just goes to show why I'm not a coach and Fox is. Well, at least for now.
Did he really believe Brian gave the team the best chance? A bone-head move or spite work?

Why is it when the player with the ball Charles Godfrey is always 3 steps behind over the top plays, rushes, HE SUCKS as bad as John Fox. Play Pike!!!! he is the best QB on our roster. Edwards sucks too and that was a wasted draft pick. JOHN FOX should be fired today!

Does anyone really think Tony Pike or Armanti Edwards would have done better if they had started? Pike wont even be here next year after we draft Luck. The new coach will only keep Edwards because Marty will make him.

"darin is an idiot", the comment you just made about the health of Mr. Richardson and his heart donor is really lame brother. I've enjoyed your comments until that one. Wouldn't it be ironic if your heart gives out and the determination of whether you live or die depends on a freakin football game. I know this man personally, and its a given fact that if you were to ask him for something that he has, without thought, it would more than likely be yours. Do us all a favor and find someone else to pull for or keep your non-football related pukie comments outta here. win or lose, We comment on football in here!

Why would Carolina draft another QB, so mostly everybody can give up on him/throw him under the bus without improving?

Godfrey has proven from time to time all year he doesn't need to play saftey. Sure he has 4 ints, but he is always out of position. He was suppose to have TJ H once he passed by Gamble to not surrender a td.

We have watch the same boring and predictable offense all year, does it matter if BSP connected to Gettis for a td?

They still lost thanks to his 2 stupid ints towards Reed and Lewis. The defense always start off slow as usual, still no consistent pass rush.

Fox, Davidson, and Meeks will be gone. JR soon when the CBA is resolved he will spend money.

You really gotta give kudos for St.Pierre on his post game interview ...here is a man who practices with the team for less than a week and then throws himself under the bus for losing the game. Welcome to the Circus in Charlotte

Time to TOTally dismantle and start from scratch...start with ditching the coaching staff

So if I ask Jerry to give me a refund on my season tickets will he give it to me without any thought? Probably not since he's a money hungry a hole

Posted by: Darin is an idiot | Nov 22, 2010 1:23:28 AM

(darin is an idiot), its way too easy for me to take the high road on this, so just let me say. You've always had some really good comments in here, and believe me I'm as frustrated as you are, but the remark of the donors body burning in hell I think kinda surprised us all. It seemed like it was a bit outta character from your past comments. Calling Mr. Richardson a money hungry A hole is probably not gonna ruffle anybodys feathers. Heck , I think alot of people are saying the same thing. Stay kool brother, we'll git em next year. P.S. , love your handle!

I will still attend all the games to support the players on the field. Not like the rest of the fans that sold out to the Baltimore fans. Congrats on the Gettis play, he is open on that route EVERY home game. Also apparent, Jimmy taught Brian about the pick 6 play.
