1996 was my favorite all time Panther season and Kevin Greene was a pleasure to watch- he left everything on the field. I hope he makes the Hall. The 1996 team had a potent offense, stingy defense and exciting special teams (we used to return kickoffs for TD's on a regular basis). I went to all nine home games that year and remember Kevin leading the team around the stadium "high fiving" fans after the Cowboy playoff game. He also made me a fan of the 3-4 defense and with the right personnel, I'd like to see it here again.

96 was a great season, don't think I would put it ahead of 03, but pretty close. Memories like that season is what keeps me coming back despite this year. We will get that feeling again. It won't be long. Turn around in the NFL is too quick. Remember, we were the #2 seed just 2 years ago.
