Panthers getting numbers back

Strange sight at Panthers practice Wednesday, as four quarterbacks took part for the first time since the preseason.

Jimmy Clausen was cleared by doctors after suffering a concussion, meaning he'll start Sunday at Cleveland barring a setback.

Also, Brian St.Pierre was able to throw some, after a bout of arm, shoulder and back soreness from his surprise start.

Coupled with Tony Pike and new practice squader Keith Null, the Panthers had more passers than they knew what to do with.

They also got RB Jonathan Stewart back on the practice field after he missed two weeks with a concussion, along with WR Brandon LaFell.

LG Travelle Wharton (toe) is still out of practice, along with backup Ss Marcus Hudson (ankle) and Jordan Pugh (hamstring).  -- Darin Gantt

Thank God this season is coming to an end soon!

This team is one lucky win from being 0-10 right now.

They are just AWFUL to watch!

It's about time Stewart got back on the field. Enough of these "injuries" from our "elite" players who evidently don't want to finish out the season since it has gone so bad for the team (DeAngelo, this means you, too)

Now that Goodson is looking like an ever-game back. I think we start to shop Stewart. Maybe do something crazy like get a receiver out of the deal.

All those QBs and the best of the bunch is listed as a receiver. Give Edwards a chance to start. Just because.

package Stewart with Smith and see what you can get!

@ Nick and Greg

Wow after 2 games they should just trade away proven players? Hey y'all should trade Beason, Anderson, Gamble, William, Smith, and Stewart as well.

Become even more of a laughing stock team, thank goodness Hurney isn't listening to the fans.

Might as well trade every proven player to see what they can get then. Since i'm hearing package Stewart and Smith.

Smith will likely bring back a 3rd or 4th rounder, Stewart a 2nd or 3rd rounder. No team will surrender a 1st rounder for none of them if that what some ppl are thinking.

Hey maybe the Colts should trade Manning, the Patriots Brady, and the Saints Brees. Lmao wow.
